Steven Harsey Textiles has announced Blue Home, the Milan based home textile division of the Ferragamo Group will be distributed exclusively in the United States from September 1, 2003. The Blue Home collections will be available through twelve design center showrooms and an extensive network of road sales representatives.

Blue Home is an Italian distributor of high-end exclusive upholstery and drapery fabrics, woven in the Italian weaving centers in Como and Caserta. Each collection has an extensive range of color coordinated patterns that are a designer’s dream. The Mediterranean color palette creates a wide range of opportunity for the discriminating designer.

Steven Harsey Textiles, now in their 24th year, has headquarters in Southern California and is distributed through trade showrooms throughout North America. In addition to the recent addition of Blue Home, they are also the exclusive distributor of Christian Fischbacher, the Swiss based design and textile company, in the three Harsey Southern California showrooms.

Steven Harsey said, “we have concentrated on building a strong management and support team that permits us to use our experience and distribution network to grow our business with the addition of high-end exclusive lines such as Blue Home.”

Blue Home’s 2003 collections include an extensive assortment of patterns and styles ranging from classical to contemporary. Seamless 118" sheers and double-width taffeta in a large color line are included. Harsey added, “today, the first question designers ask when they come into a showroom is, what’s new? Blue Home provides some exciting answers to that question with an exciting visual presentation.”
